Aviation Pre-apprentice Course (Certificate II Aeroskills)



This course will introduce students to the exciting field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and give them an insight into the scope and diversity of the trades of Avionics, Mechanical and Structures. It will start them on the road towards gaining their qualifications as AME and LAME’s. This course is aimed at students who are unsure as to which particular trade they are interested in. There is a high emphasis on Technical Hand Skills which the Aviation Industry states as being an area that needs addressing. Our course is designed to address the specialised needs of this industry.

Federation Training (RTO 0417) conducts the training and assessment and issues the qualification for Certificate II Aeroskills (MEA20415).

This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government subsidies. Eligibility criteria applies

  • (HF) Human Factors

  • (QA) Electrical Fundamentals

  • (GA) Piston Engine Theory and Construction
